In this painting, I positioned my model upside down; draped her in silk taffeta, then took a series of black and white photographs. From the photographs came my composition. Later, I surrounded her with some of my favorite things: pool table, putting hole, set the window in front of Bastoni’s vineyard. The mountain is Mt Johnson and came from Kenwood. The nude is Wisconsin-based. Game Girl is my only regional painting.
